Traffic Data Counting & Analysis

We successfully completed a large-scale traffic data collection and analysis project across 30 strategic locations in Bangalore.

  • 7 Midblock Traffic Surveys conducted over a period of 7 days.
  • 7 Screen Line Surveys carried out for continuous 24-hour durations.
  • 16 Intersection/Junction Classified Traffic Counts conducted for 24 hours each.
  • Detailed vehicle classification, turning movement counts, and traffic flow analysis to support transportation planning and infrastructure development.

Representative Survey Location

One of the representative survey locations was the Varthur Road – Swami Vivekananda Road Junction, where a comprehensive intersection traffic survey was undertaken to assess traffic volumes, movement patterns, and roadway performance.

Public Opinion Survey – Proposed Bangalore Tunnel Corridor

Daffic also executed a major public opinion survey for a proposed tunnel corridor connecting K.R. Puram and Nayandahalli, Bangalore.

  • Survey coverage across 20 locations along the proposed corridor.
  • Deployment of 20 trained field enumerators.
  • Collection of 10,000 respondent samples within a challenging timeline of just 7 days.
  • Data gathering focused on commuter travel patterns, infrastructure preferences, and public perception of the proposed project.

Delivering Reliable Traffic Intelligence

The survey provided valuable insights into user expectations and community perspectives, helping stakeholders make informed decisions regarding the proposed transportation infrastructure.

Through advanced data collection methodologies, experienced field teams, and robust quality control processes, Daffic delivers accurate and actionable transportation data that supports traffic engineering studies, feasibility assessments, infrastructure planning, and mobility improvement projects across India and international markets.
